Wafa Karsha is a member of the women's Saudiaat Art Group in Jeddah. In 2006 she received an encouraging award for pottery and ceramics at an International Congress on Tourism and Traditional Handicrafts organized in Riyadh by the Crafts Development Program of the Research Centre for Islamic History in Istanbul.
